It was on September 9, 2012 that Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively and Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds tied the knot at Boone Hall Plantation, a historic property in Charleston, South Carolina. Dating back to the seventeenth century, Boone Hall is an antebellum era plantation (and one of the oldest working plantations in the country) that is abounding with Southern charm. Their famous ceremony venue is called The Cotton Dock, while the ¾ mile Avenue of Oaks (pictured above) provides the ultimate spot for couples’ portraits. From the estate’s signature moss-covered oak trees to the tidal marsh giving off major The Notebook vibes, this celebrity wedding venue is definitely one of the most beautiful in the United States.

Forte di Belvedere (Florence, Italy)

If it’s good enough for Kim and Kanye, it’s good enough for us! These famous lovebirds said “I do” at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on May 24, 2014. This sixteenth century fortress was constructed in order to protect the Medici family in the event of a city siege, and today it mostly serves as a tourist site and event space. The military-meets-Italian-Renaissance architecture is simply jaw-dropping, making wedding guests feel as though they’ve entered a Tuscan castle. Kim and Kanye famously paid over €300,000 to hire the venue for their wedding, and we’re sure their celebration did not disappoint! The property consists of expansive gardens and terraces throughout, all of which boast picturesque views of Florence and the Tuscan countryside. We can’t imagine anywhere more romantic to tie the knot.

Luttrellstown Castle (Dublin, Ireland)

Victoria and David Beckham are basically British royalty at this point, so it’s no surprise that way back in 1999, they decided to hold their wedding at an actual castle — Luttrellstown Castle, to be exact. The historic property located in Dublin, Ireland dates back to the fifteenth century and once even hosted Queen Victoria. Today, the castle is a luxury wedding and event venue with a five-star resort and championship golf course on its 567-acre estate.

Mere months ago, Chance the Rapper and his high school sweetheart, Kirsten Corley, were wed in a breathtaking ceremony at The Resort at Pelican Hill. Easily one of the most scenic event spaces in California, this five-star resort is situated near Newport Beach, overlooking the rugged Pacific Ocean. Pelican Hill is famous for its Italian Renaissance-style rotunda, which is where Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley exchanged vows.
