The Christian Louboutin Capsule Baby Shoe Collection

We officially know what we want for Christmas! The shiny red soles now synonymous with the footwear of French fashion designer Christian Louboutin are finally available in pint size. That’s right — Louboutin has released a limited-edition collection of baby shoes. (For all you fashion-forward moms out there, this is the holiday miracle we’ve been waiting for!)

The capsule collection is the second time Louboutin has ventured into the world of children’s footwear, the first being his collaboration with Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop last year. After the success of his Goop x Christian Louboutin collab, dubbed “Loubibaby,” we couldn’t wait to see what the designer would come up with next. This time around, he’s used the same Mary-Jane silhouette for his miniature booties, but imbued them with the hues and motifs that the French fashion house is known for.

For this ultra-exclusive line, just 600 pairs have been produced in one style with three variations: Wallgraf Multi, Wallgraf Black and White, and Loubi Red. (And of course, each pair has the designer’s patented red-lacquered sole, as well as a little handmade bow). They are ideal for six-to nine-month-old tots to walk, crawl, or just sit around looking adorable in.

We love the classic red satin shoe for Christmastime, but the graphic Wallgraf pattern, adorned with an elegant graffiti-esque motif, is both cute and high fashion (sure to spawn a new generation of shoe addicts à la Carrie Bradshaw).

Louboutin himself is the father of twin girls, making this a passion project for him. The brand’s fine craftsmanship is visible in every shoe Louboutin designs, including these small masterpieces.

If you’re looking for that perfect artsy-meets-sophisticated baby shoe for your bff’s new bundle of joy (or your own), then be sure to snatch up a pair of these limited-edition beauties before they’re gone.

Christian Louboutin’s capsule baby shoes are $250 (USD) a pop and available exclusively on the brand’s website. Get yours today!
