Luxe Pink Eateries Around the World

It’s official: #MillennialPink has taken over the world. From fashion to interior design, this neutral, bubblegum-inspired hue is the colour of the year. As you know by now, we’re all about both style and substance when it comes to our favourite eateries. So when we started to see a trend of all-pink restaurants popping up around the globe, we were over the moon. The five luxe pink eateries below are not only major Instagram bait, but they also offer some pretty delicious bites!

Sketch – London, UK

London’s Sketch has so much going for it. First, it’s historic, as the building dates back to the eighteenth century; second, it’s located mere blocks from bustling Oxford Street; and third, it serves as both a tea room and an upscale cocktail lounge. And then to top it off, Sketch is decked out with pink velvet booths, a complementary coral bar back, and of course, millennial pink-painted walls and ceiling! In addition, it offers one of the best afternoon teas in the city, boasting vegetarian, vegan, pescetarian, and even gelatine-free options.

Pietro NoLita – New York, USA

In case you haven’t heard, NoLita is the neighbourhood in which to see and be seen in Manhattan at the moment. Retaining much of the city’s characteristic charm and not yet overrun by tourists, but still in close proximity to SoHo, NoLita is one of the last remaining “true” New York neighbourhoods. Thus, we were so excited to find yet another pink gem in this trendy hood in the form of Pietro NoLita. This tiny cafe-bistro is tucked away on Elizabeth Street and offers healthy Italian fare in a 1950s-style interior. Pink tables, pink chairs, pink walls — you name it, it’s pink! They even painted the outside of the building pink for that perfect Instagram backdrop. In terms of offerings, this eatery (open for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on weekends) specializes in Italian classics like risotto, gnocchi, ravioli, grilled octopus, and beef carpaccio. And, of course, don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy an authentic cup of Italian coffee!

Nanan – Wroclaw, Poland

Polish pastry shop Nanan has taken Instagram by storm thanks to its rosy interior and delectable desserts — many of which also happen to be pink! Located in the city of Wroclaw in Western Poland, Nanan is a classic French patisserie in the heart of this old city. From macarons to petit fours, you can expect top notch French desserts here. Almost better than the sweet treats is the chic pink interior. Peach pink marble tables and countertops, blush chairs, and dark pink velvet walls are just a few of our favourite design details.

Brasserie D & Sweetroom – Tokyo, Japan

This sleek Tokyo bar with hot pink accents is what dreams are made of! French fine dining with a focus on dessert is what you’ll find at this upscale brasserie. From French classics like ratatouille to smoked mackerel and grilled eggplant tartare, there is plenty to indulge in! And of course, don’t forget to take a photo (or two) in one of the pink tufted booths!

Peggy Porschen – London, UK

If you go to London and don’t get a picture in front of Peggy Porschen, did you ever really go to London? Cupcake shop Peggy Porschen has exploded in the last few years thanks to its millennial-approved storefront and tasty sweets. Not only does the Belgravia bakery have a pink exterior, but it also boasts an Instagram-worthy floral arch at the entrance to the store, which changes each season.
