A snowy winter evening calls for a warming nightcap, and for those trying to keep it healthy this holiday season, we’re bringing you this decadent but guilt-free recipe for hot chocolate. It’s best enjoyed with additional ingredients like a soft blanket, a crackling fire, and a good book. Or, better yet, with company!
2 cups chai tea
1 tbsp cacao butter (or coconut butter, though it won’t result in that chocolate flavour)
1 tbsp MCT oil (or coconut oil)
2-3 drops peppermint essential oil
2 tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
2 tbsp lakanto (or sweetener of choice, to taste)
1 pinch sea salt
Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until very frothy. Enjoy the creamy, minty Christmas deliciousness!
